Historical Badge from 1932 to 1968 (Promise badge)

In 1932 the Promise badge altered to have a straight stem and stalk rather than a curving one, and the text ‘Girl Guides’ was added along the scroll – this is the most commonly seen design, as it was around for the longest time – from 1932 right through to 1968, which was also the era when Guide membership was at it’s highest.  

There is some wear and tear on this badges as they are originals.
